PART II: “TWO FOR ART”
Scenes and stories from 2009-2011: Our Travels in BluCon
There are no story spoilers here.
2009-2011: BluCon gave us some of the happiest days of our lives.
In June 2009, Bernie and I bought a 27′ Lazy Daze motorhome that we named BluCon, because (as Bernie said): “It’s blue and Martha conned me into it.”
But the wonderful experiences that followed were no con. From that summer through the early fall of 2011—a total of 28 months—we loved all the new adventures that BluCon opened up to us.
That first year, I created this digital newsletter, “Two for Art,” to bring our family and friends into the adventures. In total, I made six issues. So glad I did, because now it’s a great nostalgic record of those fun times.
